John Gerber has a BFA from the University of Minnesota. His work is inspired by the work of cubists like Braque, Picasso and Du Champ and abstract expressionists like Gottlieb and de Konning. Gerber’s work expresses sadness, joy, clarity, confusion and playful expression. He uses a variety of materials which can make his work more subtle and expressive and add texture and depth.
